Fred P. Offerman

Mr. Offerman owned the Fairhaven Pharmacy, originally located in what is now 12th Street Shoes.
He also owned the first automobile in Fairhaven. Often he was seen with his dog riding up and down
the streets of Fairhaven. The photograph (above) was taken by J. Wayland Clark at
the corner of 19th & Larrabee. The automobile is an Orient Buckboard, one lung,
4 H.P made by Waltham Firm Manufacturing Co. – on Larrabee Avenue.
